Margaret Joan Craun of Manassas, VA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2024, from complications from diabetes. Born on Feb 17, 1943, in Washington, DC, she met her husband Marvin while singing in the church choir. She had many jobs including working for the Federal Government, working at Boynton Associates as an editor of a catalog that sold miniature furniture for dollhouses and working for ATT as a customer sales and service representative. Her most favorite job was being a loving wife, mother and friend. She loved to crochet and often donated hats for cancer patients and lap robes to nursing homes. She will be missed by many people. She is survived by her children Sherri Craun Katoen (Maurice) and Paul Craun (Danielle), her grandchildren Kristina Craun Fernandez (Kevin), Stefanie Craun Tucker (Bryan) Matthew Craun, William Craun, Daniel Craun and Jason Craun, and her great grandchildren Karsynn Tucker, Kennedy Tucker and Evelyn Fernandez. She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Craun, her son David Craun and her mother Rubinette Gill Dunaway.
