Margaret Hamming Schuler 87 of Nampa passed away at her home at Touchmark, Meridian Id. June 28, 2012. Margaret was born at St Luke’s Hospital Boise Id. on August 29, 1924, to Renze and Clissie Hamming. She was raised on a cattle ranch on Eagle Road. Her mother passed when she was twelve. Margaret attended White Cross grade school in Meridian and North Jr. High in Boise, graduating from Boise High School in 1942. Margaret met Carl Schuler at one of the famous Schuler barn dances at the Schuler farm.
They were married November 29, 1945 at St.
Margaret worked with the Jr. C. D. A. and held the office of District Deputy, and was State Nominating Committee Chairman and Catholic Women’s League and was a Eucharistic Minister.Mercy MedicalCenter. She also hosted C.D.A. members in her home for over 40 years. She worked with the Knights of Columbus and the C.D.A. at a food booth at the Idaho State Fair for 14 years.
She was on the Parish Council forSt.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, sons John and Jim, grandson Ben, 2 brothers, 8 sister-in laws, 5 brothers-in-laws, step mother and step sister. Margaret is survived by her children, daughter-in law Barbara Schuler, Karla (Gene) Deveraux, Joe (Susan) Schuler, Tom (Brenda) Schuler. 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, two brother-in-laws, four sister-in-laws, one step brother and many nieces and nephews.
