Margaret Brickhouse, of Lakeland, Florida and resident of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was 82 years old.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Brickhouse Jr.; mother, Mildred Zanavich; and sister, Shirley Tagmeyer.
She is survived by sister Nita Cooper, Norfolk VA.; brother Jimmie Yates; son Jerry Brickhouse (Cathy) Mooresville, NC; son Herb Brickhouse (Pam), Atlanta, GA; son Steve Brickhouse (Connie), Lakeland FL; son Gary Brickhouse (Krista), Lakeland, FL; daughter Kathy Bouchard (Jim), Shreveport, LA; daughter Christine McDow (Dwayne), Shreveport, LA, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Margaret was a faithful servant of her Lord and loved her family dearly. She was known for her quick wit and sarcastic “wisdom”. She was the spiritual matriarch of her family and leaves a profound legacy of prayer and faith for her family to carry on.
