Margaret Anna (Zulick) Seles, 80, of Ashford, widow of Andrew Seles Jr., died Sunday Feb. 3, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born April 24, 1921 in Ashford the daughter of Andrew and Irene (Fello) Zulick and was a lifelong resident. She operated the family dairy farm with her husband from 1942 to 1951. Mrs. Seles then became employed at the UConn Biochemistry & Biology Dept. for 30 years. After retiring in 1981, she and her husband wintered in Florida for 12 years. She was a member of the Hungarian Social Club and the Ashford Senior Center. She was predeceased by a brother Andrew Zulick in 1984. She is survived by her 3 children; Peggy Choate of Santa Rosa, CA., Andrew Seles III of Ashford and Barbara Kahn of Tucson, AZ., 6 grandchildren; Jackie Nyerick of Warminster, PA., Donna Gebow of Waterbury, Aimee Seles of Narragansett, R.I., Andrew James Seles of Ashford and Kathrine and Aaron Kahn of Tucson, AZ., 2 great grandchildren Jessica and Nicole Nyerick of Warminster, PA., a brother John Zulick and sister in law Barbara, sister in law Theresa Sanga and a very special nephew, Jack Sanga and his wife Laura of E. Lyme and many nieces and nephews and a dear friend of many years, Anelisa Jorgenson of Toronto, Canada.
