Margaret Ann Skouden McCurry, 85, Anderson, died January 30, 2005 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus-Anderson after an extended illness. She was born January 30, 1920 in Anderson, and was a lifetime resident. She worked at Guide Lamp Division of General Motors and had previously worked at Wonder Bread and Hoyt Wrights.
She was a graduate of Anderson High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons: Robert & wife, Rebecca McCurry of Anderson, and William & wife, Patti McCurry, also of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Stefanie & husband, Mark Eckert of Anderson, Melissa & husband, Mark Kirchenbauer of Nashville, TN, Alison & husband, Jason Boerner of Anderson, Christopher & wife, Amy McCurry of Alexandria, Michael McCurry of Anderson, Carol Aynes of Anderson, Michelle & husband, Bill Ardery of Indianapolis, and Julia Haley of Anderson; sixteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a cousin, Mary Craig.
Also surviving are special friends, Thelma Libler & Norma Blades She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McCurry; parents, William E. & Lenora Rhinehart Skouden; one sister, Musetta Thomas and three brothers, David, William & Robert Skouden.
