Margaret retired from the Hammond Kmart after 17 years of service. She was an avid reader and after retiring from Kmart Margaret shared her love of reading at the Hammond Public Library where she volunteered with the Adult Education Program.

Margaret and Jim were “Snowbirds” so they loved to escape Indiana winters to spend time together at their condo in Arizona.

Margaret loved tending to her flower gardens and enjoyed crochet crafting beautiful blankets for the family to pass on for generations. She also gave us countless holiday memories to carry in our hearts all the days of our lives. Her grand-kids will fondly remember spending the night in her big bed or how she made the world’s best lemon meringue pie and potato salad. Our devoted wife, loving mom, adoring grandma and great grandma has gone to join her husband in Heaven.
