Margaret died peacefully on August 18th, with her daughter Megan by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Margaret was born on March 15th 1949 in Forest City , Iowa to James Utt and Helen Utt (Psotka). She grew up in Algona, Iowa and graduated from Algona High School in 1967. She had many dear friends from high school that she kept in touch with. Margaret then went on to Mankato State University.
She met Bill Reinhard in January of 1970, they were married August 22nd of that year.
In March 1975, they had Megan, Margaret always said Megan was her “gift” and they were always together from then on.
Margaret and Megan moved to Dallas, Texas in 1981 with Margaret’s sister Connie. Margaret became a Sales Assistant at a brokerage firm ( Rauscher Pierce Refsnes). She continued in this occupation for the rest of her professional life. She had many friends and colleagues that loved her.
Margaret and Megan moved to Colorado Springs in 1987. Margaret worked for Paine Webber and Dain Bosworth during that time.
Margaret moved to Denver in 1998 . She worked at Everen Securities, Wagner Investments and then retired from Brown and Tedstrom.
Her greatest joy came in 2011 when her first Grandchild, Luke was born, then again when her Granddaughter, Emmy was born in 2013. She loved to take them to the park, the pool and just about anywhere.
Margaret made friends everywhere she went, especially babies and children!
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Utt and Helen Utt (Psotka). and her sister, Connie Dwyer (Utt).
She is survived by her daughter Megan Rotter (Brian), Grandchildren, Lucas and Emerson. Brother, Jim Utt (Cindy). Sister, Debra Johnson (Alan). and many nieces and nephews that loved her.
