Marcus E. Kidwell, Age 89, of Richmond, Kentucky formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday evening April 27, 2014 at the Telford Terrace Nursing Home in Richmond, Ky. after an extended illness. Mr. Kidwell was born in Petersville, Ky. January 17, 1925 to the late Ashel and Rosa Stamm Kidwell. Marcus was a shipping engineer for the Lykes Shipping Company in New Orleans, Louisana. Was a former owner and operator along with his wife Shirley of the Duds and Suds here in Vanceburg, Ky. He was a member of the Vanceburg Lions Club and was a farmer in the Petersville area in his earlier years. Was a Shriner of the El Hasa Shrine in Ashland, Ky.
