Marcie returned home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. She was born on February 9, 1983 to Robert Brinkerhoff and Kathy Larsen. Marcie grew up in Weber County and graduated from Fremont High School. She met the love of her life, Shane Gordon and their hearts will forever be joined and entwined. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and her Savior, Jesus Christ and was always mindful of the beauty and magnificence of Creation.
Marcie was very creative and had an eye for artistic beauty and could create anything seemingly out of nothing, as long as it included glitter and sparkle. She also had a talent for writing and was always surprising family and friends with fun poems and special notes of love and caring. She especially loved her nieces and nephews and loved special outings and times spent with them. Marcie was known and loved by all for her loving, caring, free spirit.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Nicole; grandmother, Diann Larsen; grandfather, Dale Brinkerhoff.
She is survived by her Spouse, Shane; children, Ty and Jessica; her precious dogs, Zhazha and Faith; parents, Kathy (Tom) Larsen and Robert (Leesa) Brinkerhoff; grandparents, Gail Larsen, Leanna Brinkerhoff, Jolene and Larry Sexton, and Gayle Halverson; sisters, Melynda (Bobby) Ropelato, and Natalie (Matt) Rhees; step-siblings, Preston Anderson, CJ (Kristie) Close, Dale (Rania) Smith, Kami (Mike) Leib, and Sid Sexton; sister-in-law, Denice Gordon.
