Marcia was born in Sioux Falls South Dakota to Louis Charles Benesh and Mary Grace Groves-Benesh. Her older brother, Gordon James Benesh, passed away in 2012.
She grew up in Cheyenne Wyoming but completed high school at South High School in Denver, CO. Marcia then continued her education at Denver University and Iliff School of Theology.
Her lifelong career was at United Airlines as a reservation specialist. She had the privilege of working on the computer implementation of United’s airline reservation system. After many years spent in New York City, Marcia moved to Silver Springs, Maryland but continued to work for United Airlines.
Upon her retirement she moved back to Denver Colorado to be closer to family.
