Marcella Marie Kresl, 85, of Cassopolis, formerly of Chicago, died Monday, December 16, 2013 in Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital, Dowagiac. Marcella was born January 23, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Rose (Andel) Kuratko. She married Edward Anthony Kresl June 9, 1951 in Berwyn, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded by her parents.
Marci was devoted to her family and greatly enjoyed spending time with them on Diamond Lake. Marcella will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia (Phil) Blatt of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; two sons, Edward (Catherine) Kresl of Cassopolis, Mark (Patricia) Kresl of Ormond Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
