Marcelaine “Marcy” Taylor, a long time resident of Holley-Navarre, was born in Savannah, GA in 1928. In 1944 She met and married Allen Taylor in West Palm Beach Florida. They were married for the 64 years. Marcy was a military wife and called numerous places home over the years including West Palm Beach, Travis AFB CA, RAF Shepherd’s Grove in England, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC and Ent AFB in Colorado Springs, CO. She raised four children – Lynda, Robin, Mark and David. Marcy was known for her Southerner hospitality and she enjoyed making others laugh.
