Maranda BurnsAge 29 of Lansing formerly of Owosso passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021.A Time of Visiting will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 from 2pm-8pm at Nelson-House Funeral Home. Maranda was born January 24, 1992 in Owosso, the daughter of Brian Zemla and Anastasia (Cornell) Hofacker.She graduated from Owosso High School.Maranda loved to be outdoors in the warm weather, hiking, knitting, crocheting, reading books and most of all she loved her daughter Macie more than anything in the world. She married Fredrick Burns in Lansing on October 15, 2020 .Maranda was recently employed at West Side Distribution, prior to that she worked at Frito lay for two years. She loved working at Frito lay it made her motivated and excited.Maranda is survived by her Husband, Fredrick Burns; Daughter, Macie; Parents, Brian (Larinda) Zemla and Anastasia (James) Hofacker; Brothers, Michael Reed and James Reed; Sister, Lacey Reed; Grandma, Marcia York; Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, along with many other loving family and friends.She was predeceased by her Grandma and Grandpa Cornell, and Great-Grandma Maragrett Chrenka.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
