Manuel G. Pinto, 56, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Riegel) Pinto for 34 years. Born in Fountain Hill he was the son of the late Manuel J. Pinto, Jr. and Hazel (Rothrock) Pinto of Allentown. Manny worked in the cokeworks for the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 30 years. Later he worked for the ArcellorMittal Steel Co. He was a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved to bowl, play softball and golf. He was a member of the former Scarlet Knights Drum & Bugle Corps. of Hellertown. Survivors: wife Joanne; mother Hazel; sisters Zel Shifter of Allentown and Angela Howard of Bethlehem; brother Joe Pinto and Caroline of Hellertown; son James Ferraira and his wife Tori of Easton and Grandson Dylan. He was predeceased by sisters Rosemarie Henry and Regina Pinto.
