Mamie R. Cameron, 88, of Anderson, passed away on September 30, 2013 at the St. Vincent’s Regional Health, Anderson.
She was born on April 14, 1925 in Hillsboro, Ohio and resided most of her life in Anderson. Mamie was a Homemaker, and she worked for Delco Products in Dayton, OH during the war, and NCR in Dayton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Women’s Circle, Anderson Civic and Literary Board, Contact Help Volunteer, and Cub Scout Den Mother.. She was an avid Bridge player, golfer, and loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mamie is survived by her two sons, Daniel Mary Cameron of Anderson, and Gary Jill Cameron of Anderson, IN, brother, Fred Betty Roberds of Hillsboro, OH, grandchildren, Brian Cameron of Santa Monica, CA, Dennis Joni Cameron of Anderson, and Brent Jen Cameron of Chicago, great-grandchildren, Andrew, and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Cameron, mother, Maude Roberds, father, Andrew Roberds, brother, Jim Roberds, and her sister, Sinia Bertman.
