Mamadou “Dewey” Gabriel Richer, age 12, ran into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay due to the complications of Shaken Baby Syndrome. His loving parents were by his side.
Mamadou was known for his smile that could light up a room and make the day better for anyone he met. He loved Scooby Doo movies, fuzzy pj’s, music and especially his sister, Kenzie. Dewey leaves a legacy of teaching the people around him of God’s unfailing mercy and the value of human life. He was a student of the Learning Center in Escanaba until his family moved to Pulaski, Wisconsin where he attended Syble Hopp School in DePere.
Mamadou is survived by his parents, Joshua and Lindsay (Bell ) Richer; siblings, Mackenzie, Lil Miss and Joseph. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Tom and Janis Bell; his paternal grandparents, Dale and Donna Richer; his great grandmother, Hazel Sealander and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
