Malcolm Ray Ward, 37, of San Joe Boulevard, died at 7:15 a.m. Monday (Jan. 15, 2007) in Elkhart General Hospital, from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident.
He was born July 9, 1969, in Elkhart to Ray and Mildred (Hayes) Ward. On June 1, 2006, in Elkhart, he married Brenda L. Sutterby.
She survives, along with his mother, Mildred Ward of Elkhart; two sisters, Jennifer (Danny) Harper of Hemet, Calif., and Michelle (Fred) Genslinger of Elkhart; and two brothers, Ray (Kathy) Ward of Munford, Tenn., and Mike (Michelle) Ward of Hemet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Ward, who died in 2001.
Mr. Ward worked in the RV industry for many years, most recently for Four Winds as a service technician. He was a 1987 graduate of Memorial High School, enjoyed working on cars and was always ready to help friends and family. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed anything that went fast.
Mr. Ward enjoyed riding his dirt bikes, ATVs and being with his friends.
