Mae Elizabeth Hyatt, 90, of Jacksonville, died Wed, Jan. 25, 2012, at Heritage Health Therapy & Senior Care in Jacksonville. She was born September 8, 1921, in Cass County, the daughter of William and Wilma McDonald Fielden. She married Kendall M. Garner on Nov. 8, 1942, in Missouri and he preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Milton Hyatt in 1980 in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death in 2002.
She is survived by five children, Kendall (Thelma) Garner of Groveland, Linda (Glen) Hess of Burr Ridge, Sherry (James) Van Buren of Bartonville, Susan Spaeth of Chillicothe, and Gemini (Michael) Garner-Jones of Rogers Park; 13 grandchildren, Shawn, Seth, Jason, and Logan Garner, Shanna Maas, Bill, Chris, and Rene Rodi, Zachary and Jeremy Van Buren, and Michael, Gretchen, and Heidi Spaeth; numerous great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marvin J. Fielden of Chandlerville.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Garner.
Mrs. Hyatt was a member of the First Christian Church in Jacksonville.
