Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Rylan, and daughter, Georgia Swain, Mae was the loving mother of Catherine Blake; mother-in-law to Ron Blake and Mike Swain; grandmother of Linda Blake, Nancy Brooks, John Blake, Mike Swain Jr., Ken Swain and Bob Swain; great-grandmother of Nick Blake, Natalie Brooks, Samantha Swain, Sydney Swain and Kenny Swain Jr.
Born and raised in Oakland, Mae moved to her beloved Alameda in 1971.
