Mae Ann Gray age 61, of Ashland, died Thursday April 14, 2011 at the Hospice House. She was born in Ashland on November 8, 1949, the daughter of James and Evelyn (Markel) Biggs. Mrs. Gray had been a resident of Ashland all of her life. She was a Homemaker and a caregiver for her grandchildren. Forty four years ago on August 21, 1966 Mae married the love of her life David Gray who survives. Also surviving are her daughter and son in -law, Sherri and Chris Shafer of Ashland; her sons and daughters in-law, Bill and Staci Gray of Ashland, Mike and Cheryl Gray of Ashland; 8 grandchildren; Cory, Caiti, Carli and Connor Gray of Ashland, Ryan and Jacob Gray of Ashland and Hannah and Megan Shafer of Ashland; her sisters and brother in-law, Peggy Biggs of Ashland, Patti and Dale King of Mansfield; along with her brothers and sisters in- law, Larry Biggs of Ashland, Bob and Phyllis Biggs of Squires Missouri, and James and Sue Biggs of Owensborough Kentucky.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, sister Darlene and brother Rolland (Gene) Biggs.
Mae will be terribly missed as a special sister who held the family together.
