Madonna L. Cook, 86, of Anderson, passed away July 14, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on June 1, 1931 in Madison County, Indiana and resided most of her life in Madison County. Madonna graduated from Markleville High School, Class of 1949. She retired from Indiana Gas Company where she worked as a switchboard operator.
She was a member of East Christian Church in Markleville. Madonna is survived by her son, Keith Cook of Markleville; three grandchildren, Kyle Cook, Kayla Cook, and Kody Cook; two nieces, Myra Faust, Marcia Rector She was preceded in death by husband, Glenn A. Cook; mother, Blanche Markle; father, Andrew J. Markle; sister, Mary C Mitchell.
