Madaline “Midge” Maiorana (nee Hensperger), 83, of Toms River, NJ, died on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ and lived in North Brunswick for over 45 years before moving to Toms River, NJ 17 years ago. Madaline was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School and was employed by the New Jersey State Employment Service, Highland Park, for several years before becoming a full-time homemaker.
Madaline was very active in her children’s school activities and PTA. She enjoyed taking her children ice skating in the winter and on vacations to the Jersey Shore in the summer. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ. Madaline was predeceased by her husband Anthony Maiorana and her parents Anthony and Clara Hensperger.
She is survived by her two daughters: Melinda Dericks and her husband Paul of Toms River, NJ and Lori Crouch and her husband Rich of North Brunswick, NJ; three grandchildren Matthew Crouch and his fiancée Amanda Johnson, Jessica and Kellie Crouch; a sister Lorraine Gosse of Philadelphia, PA, two brothers Robert Hensperger and his wife Rita of West Windsor, NJ and Anthony Hensperger of East Windsor, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
