Madaline Esther (Thorp) Stevens, 80, of Middletown, wife of the late Donald J. Stevens, passed away on Monday, April 26th after a long courageous battle with many health issues. Born in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Antoinette Thorp. Madaline grew up in Rhode Island and then moved to Middletown where she lived most of her life. She was a huge NASCAR fan and until a few years ago, had attended Waterford Speed bowl every weekend. She adored drivers, Jeff Pearl and Bobby Potter.
