Port Gibson – Madalene Eleanor Taylor, 79 died suddenly Monday, July 15, 2002 at Clifton Springs Hospital.

Mrs. Taylor was born the daughter of Pearl and Clara Goodwin Winslow on February 23, 1923 in Solon, New York. She worked at Sarah Coventry as a secretary and then at Clifton Springs Hospital as a ward secretary. Mrs. Taylor enjoyed watching birds and working on puzzles. She loved dearly Licorice her cat.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Port Gibson United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Jacqueline Davis of Rochester and Jeannette and Thomas Delmar of Weedsport; grandchildren Larry and his fiancée Michelle, Shawn (Joe) Hoyt, Kelly (Tim) Wheeler, Arin (Rob) Elia and Todd Delmar; two great granddaughters Alissa and Tia; brother Kenneth (Lucy) Winslow of Tully; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Taylor on May 21, 1980, and son-in-law Steven Davis on March 31, 2001.
