Muncie – M. Louise Vannatter, 85, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.
Louise was born in Overton County Tennessee on October 26, 1927, the daughter of Christa Oklie, and Eliza Jane (Ledford) Shewmake, and attended Tennessee Schools.
Mrs. Vannatter worked for over 26 years with Anchor Hocking Glass.
Survivors include a brother, Lerrie Shewmake, Hope; a grandson, Gary Lynn Vannatter Jr., Muncie; a daughter-in-law, Donna Vannatter, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlie Vannatter; a son Gary Lynn Vannatter Sr.; a brother, Willard Shewmake; and three sisters, Melba Smith, Josie Smith, and Beulah Payne.
