M. Jean Priest, of Lebanon and formerly of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Monday morning, November, 2, 2015, exactly 90 years to the day, after her birth.
She was born in Hyannis, MA, daughter of the late Harold and Marion (Drew) Middleton. Jean married Stanley Russell Priest on June 28, 1950. They shared 49 years of marriage before he pre deceased her in December of 1999.
Jean and Stanley were both members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Florida. She enjoyed crafts including knitting, crocheting and she was a talented dress maker. Jean will be remembered by her family as a devoted and loving wife, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed but always remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, BetseySue and Harold Halcott of Lebanon, with whom she made her home in her later years; Sister-in-law, Lynda Middleton of S. Carolina; nieces: Kara Middleton of S. Carolina, Nora Harrington of NY, Laura Griswald of CT, Audrey Halcott of CT; a nephew, James Middleton of N. Carolina; Great Nephews, Mark Ciliano, Joshua Fuller, and Jonathan Raiola; Great-great nephews and niece, Jade, Jerico, Jason, and Jewell Ciliano; and numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was per deceased by a brother, James Middleton.
