Those left to honor Grace’s memory are her son, Gene (Olivia) Smith of Bunceton, Missouri; her daughter, Nan (Harold) Schutte of Iowa City, Iowa; and her step son, Robert (Dianna) Schutte of Cincinnati, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; her brother, John (Helen) Robson of Newton; and her sister, Martha (Bob) Guthrie of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha (Knapp) Robson; first husband, W. Clayton Smith in 1967; second husband, Ray E. Schutte in 2006; great-grandson, Bryce Chaney, two sisters, Mary Robson and Elizabeth Oliphant and seven brothers, Norman, Elmer, Ray, Will, Howard and Joe Robson.
Grace loved being with her family.
Grace was a lifelong resident of the Newton area until moving to Coralville, Iowa in the spring of 2008.
