M. Evalyn Bauman, 92, of Findlay passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Evalyn was born June 27, 1930 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Hareld and Margery (Wolford) Yoakam. She married Ray F. Bauman on May 6, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2021 after 70 wonderful years of marriage.
Evalyn is survived by her two daughters: Rebecca (Ric) Herrold of Toledo, and Kathleen Lawson of Hilliard; five grandchildren: Dhakirah (Tasnim) Hamin, Stedroy Mintas, Ray Mintas, Derek Lawson (Julie), and Natalie Lawson; eight great-grandchildren and siblings: Jean Metzger and Carol (Donald) Falk. She was preceded in death by her daughters Margery Quinland and Patricia Bauman and siblings: Lucille Sass, Dorothy Jean Skottegaard, James Yoakam and Donald Yoakam.
Evalyn owned and operated Evalyn Beauty Shop and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jenera, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Evalyn was also a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Findlay.
