M. Baird Applegate, Jr., age 91 of Canton, Georgia, formerly of Burlington, NJ, died March 28, 2007. He was an Industrial Engineer with John A. Roebling Sons, a former Tax Assessor for the City of Burlington for many years, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge #22, member of the Mens Club in Burlington and a member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Kelly Applegate, and Olive Vautier Applegate; a son, John Howard Applegate and a grandson, Jeffery Sterling.
Survivors include son, Thomas B. Applegate of Spring City, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Coupland of Canton, GA; daughter-in-law, Aileen Applegate of Burlington, NJ; grandchildren, Brandon Applegate, Joanne Day, Jill Boldt, Allison Flitcraft; great-grandchildren, Emma Day, Ethan Day, Katherine Boldt, Elise Boldt and Seth Boldt.
