M.B. Madden Jr., 94, of 331 Bidney Dr. Burlington, NC passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
A native of Belton, South Carolina he was the husband of the late Mrs. Nellie Gray Rippey Madden and the son of M.B. Madden Sr. and Francis White Madden, both deceased. He retired as a Superintendent with the Water and Sewer Department with the City of Burlington. He was a member of the Bula Lodge 409 AF&AM;. He was a 32nd degree mason, he was also a member of the Burlington Shrine Club and the Amran Temple.
Survivors include one son, Richard “Tubby” Madden (Kaye). One granddaughter, Taylor Madden and a great grand-daughter Olivia Madden. He is also survived by one brother William Louie Madden, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Madden and two sisters Evelyn Spoon and Johnnie Cross.
