M. B. Hummel, 81, of Anderson, passed away August 11, 2013 at Community Hospital, Anderson, IN.
He was born December 3, 1931 in Allons, Tennessee and resided most of his life in Anderson. He retired as a Mechanic for Waste Management after 30 years of employment.
M. B. is survived by his loving spouse whom he married January 1, 2006 in Anderson , Diana Smith Hummel, children, Bruce Mona Hummel of Anderson, Chris Barbara Hummel of Weatherford, Texas, Tammy Schlabach of Anderson, Julie Cook of Middletown, Robert Carr of Anderson, brothers, Gene Hummel, Razell Hummel, and R D Hummel, sisters, Connie Taylor, and Charlote Foirster.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven Hummel Jr. Megan, Charity Peoples Demetrius, Dawn Vaught, and Crystal Hummel, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Mitchell Hummel, son, Steven Hummel, mother, Martha Cherry Hummel, and his father Eddie Hummel, two brothers Willie Ray Hummel and Jr. Hummel.
