Williamsport, MD – Lynn “Bugs” Shriver, 74, of Williamsport, MD and formerly of Halfway, MD passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022, at Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD.
Born on June 14, 1948, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Robert Vincent and Meda Frances (Michael) Shriver.
He was a 1966 graduate of South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD and later attended Hagerstown Junior College.
Bugs was employed by General Motors until his retirement in 2000.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Bugs was a member of the UAW Local #1590 in Martinsburg, WV. He was previously employed by the Western Maryland Railway in Hagerstown, MD. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing in the Washington County flag football league and was involved with the Meals on Wheels program in Washington County.
He is survived by a daughter Shannon C. Walters and her husband Allen of Williamsport, MD and a grandson Justin A. Walters.
