LIPSCOMB, Mrs. Lynette S., Wilson, NC. Formerly of Kalamazoo Died Sunday morning December 12, 2010 in Wilson, North Carolina. Lynette was born January 5, 1964 in Vicksburg, Michigan a daughter of Ronald and Donna Stratton VanAtta.
She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed as a cosmetologist years ago. Lynette also attended St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald VanAtta; and her father-in-law, Harold Lipscomb. On August 24, 1985, she was united in marriage to Darrell W. Lipscomb who survives.
Also surviving, 2 children, Amber Lipscomb and Kyle Lipscomb both of Kalamazoo; her mother, Donna Stratton of Portage; a sister, Denise Sylvester Shelton of Wilson, NC; 2 brothers, Scott VanAtta of Wilson, NC and Mark VanAtta of Morgantown, WV; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Lipscomb of Portage; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
