Preceded in death by wife, Shirley and sister, Virginia. Survived by children, Scott (Phyllis), Laura (Gary) Bechtold, Lisa (Don), Leslie (Scott), Steven (Meghan) and Shaun; grandchildren, Anthony, Anna and Will; great-granddaughter, Aria; sisters, Jan and Sheryl. Lyle was born in Winona, lived in Rochester and more recently, lived in St. Paul. A great life of service: service to his country as a WWII Veteran, service to the public as a MN State Trooper for 35 years, and service to his family raising his 6 children and taking care of his sick wife for many years.
