Lyle Dwayne Erbe, 69, of Ammon, passed away December 12, 2018.
Lyle was born September 30, 1949, in Hoven, South Dakota, to Willard Woodrow Erbe and Althea Merkle Erbe. He grew up on a farm in Java, South Dakota, and went to farm school until 3rd grade. He then went to Bowdle Public School.
On September 10, 1966, he married Marlene Joy Barth in Bowdle, South Dakota. They were blessed with two children, Tamara and Wayne. Lyle and Marlene were later divorced, but remained close friends. Lyle worked as a forklift driver for General Mills for 35 years in Lodi, California, and then retired to Ammon, Idaho.
