Her Story
Lydia Morton was born May 22, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lydia attended Crispus Attucks High School and North Central High School, where she received her high school diploma. She then pursued classes at Indiana Central College, now known as University of Indianapolis.
Most of her childhood friends and family called her “Baby”. If you knew Lydia, you grew to love her. She was hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. She was a great daughter, sister, mother, cousin, and friend.
Lydia loved listening to music, especially old school. She loved Frankie Beverly and Maze and After 7, just to name a few. Lydia loved God and her family ferociously and was always there to give guidance.
Lydia Morton departed from this earthly life August 6, 2019 She was preceded in death by her father, Henry L. Morton.
