Born September 20, 1930 in Ft Worth TX to Josephine Morales and Vicente Olivo Lopez. Preceded in death by her loving husband Jacob B. Martinez, mother Josephine M. Lopez, father Vicente O. Lopez, brother Trinidad M. Lopez and daughter Amelia L. Martinez. Surviving family brothers Vicente M. and Sothea Lopez, Trinidad M.
Lydia enjoyed cooking and being surrounded by her family. She was our prayer warrior in that she had a devoted prayer life to our Lord to pray for the families every day. She often witnessed to her family about the goodness of the Lord. She was an excellent seamstress sewing clothes for her growing family and professionally later. Mom was a go getter and a leader. She was the first women in her barrio to drive a car and taught family and friends to drive. She helped JB in the sign/graphic sign business for many years. She was chauffer for many years with taking her boys to sports. She enjoyed long telephone calls with her Aunt Amanda. She was blessed to spend quality time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Even though her life was hard due to her disability, she tried her best to enjoy it.
