Lydia Lee Weekly, 85, of Tonica, died at 3:12 a.m. Sunday, July 29, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Mrs. Weekly was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Oglesby, to Frank and Jenny (Sabbadin) Parisotto. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Ryan in Tonica for many years.
She married Jerry Arkels on May 11, 1946. He died July 19, 1960. She then married Donald Weekly on July 6, 1968. He died March 13, 1998. She was a member of Holy Family Church, AARP and American Legion Auxiliary in Tonica.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Mary (Frank) Ravnikar of LaSalle and Rena (Emil) Ulanowski of Oglesby; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands.
