Luz Maria Gonzalez Perez, 66, of Willimantic, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Luz was born June 16, 1951, in San Sebastian Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Prudencio and Cruz (Perez) Gonzalez. Luz is survived by her longtime partner David Gonzalez; a daughter Elisave Malave and her husband Roberto; two sons, Gabriel Malave and his girlfriend Cynthia and Antonio Malave; three brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren and one great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Maximino and Efrain Gonzalez. The family of Luz wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Hartford Health Care Hospice for everything they did for Luz.
