Luna Lewis Kelly beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Cumming, GA, peacefully passed away on September 15th of 2013. Luna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years E. K. (Ken) Kelly. Luna was born in McCall Creek, MS on January 20th, 1919. She was an incredibly beautiful and strong woman who showered everyone she met with love and kindness. Growing up, Luna was an identical twin and the 11th of 12 children on a rural farm in southern Mississippi where she learned the value of hard work, integrity and compassion. Luna later attended college on a basketball scholarship and after college; she began her career working for Southern Bell. While at Southern Bell, she met her husband and they started their family in Jackson, MS. Shortly thereafter, they moved the family to Atlanta, GA, where she proudly raised her three children. Once her children were grown, Luna returned to work at Southern Bell and later retired after a successful 20 year career.
