Lulu Voyles, “Medicine Bird Woman”, 60, of Great Falls, passed away on May 11, 2015 at Benefis Hospital.

Lulu was born on May 10, 1955 in Rolla, ND. She graduated from Great Falls High and attended the University of Great Falls. She was married to Roger Voyles for 13 years, and after raising her children as well as numerous others, she began a 16 year long career in adult foster care.

Lulu was known as a selfless being. She not only mothered her four children, but countless relatives and friends. She loved animals, scary movies, and playing Tetris. Her spiritual belief in God and her Native American heritage guided her throughout her life.

Lulu is survived by her three sons, Keith (Jamie) Voyles, Mark (Mandy) Voyles, Nick McCrea; daughter Lisa (John) Byers; sisters, Ann Parrish and Mary (Tom) Littlefield; brother Tim (Frances) Parrish and ten grandchildren, Dominic, Ryder, Ariana, Savanna, Kyle, Jayden, Regan, Dylan, Cooper, and Landry Del.

Those who preceded her in death include her mother and father, Rose Anne and Florn Elshaug; sister Patti Lewis and brother Pat Parrish.
