Lula Louise Speelman, 92, of Kingwood, WV, died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at Preston Memorial Hospital.

Lula was born October 17, 1923, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Floyd and Pearl Ann (Moats) Eagle.

She retired in 1985 from Preston Memorial Hospital where she had worked over 20 years as an aide. She was a member of the United Brethren Church of Kingwood. Lula was an avid bingo player, a past Girl Scout leader, she loved crocheting, sewing and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters and spouses, Wilma Jean (Eagle) Jones of Kingwood, Alice Pearl (Speelman) and Jack Clark of Albright, Lula Louise (Speelman) and Allen Corbett of Kingwood; son-in-law, Harold B. Hillery; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years in 1985, Carlus Earl Speelman; one daughter, Wilda Lee Hillery; one grandson, Michael Dale Hillery; one great-granddaughter, Emily Nicole Jones; one son-in-law, James T. Jones; four brothers, Ben, Bill, Clayton and Dayton Eagle; two sisters, Retha Eagle Ridenour and Violet Eagle Goodman.

Friends may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street on Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 6-8pm; on Monday, May 16, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8pm; on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, from 12:00 p.m.
