Lula worked for the William H. Block Company for over 30 years–both downtown and Southern Plaza, retiring in 70’s to travel with her husband all over the United States. She was an avid swimmer, and owned horses. For a great part of their life she belonged to a saddleclub on the Southside and enjoyed many club outings in Brown County State Park.
She is also survived by her husband of 76 years and 11 months which is a very rare feat in human history, along with their remaining sons Ronald 74 of Martinsville, Dennis 63 of Greenwood, and over 30 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren! Lula, well done!
