Lula Ilene Williams, 100, of Beech Grove, passed away on June 7, 2017. She was born on January 27, 1917 in Hart County, Kentucky to Alfred and Sarah Ash Sullivan. Lula married Harlon Williams on June 28, 1947 and he precedes her in passing. She was employed as a sales clerk and cook for Bosma Dairy Bar, previously working at RCA where she served as a union stewardess.
Lula is survived by her daughters Joan (Norman) Hartsock, Candy (Greg) Wetzel; grandchildren Sherri (Greg) Crawford, Steve (Cathy) Colbert, Chris (Tera) Wetzel, Shannon Wetzel, Drew (Kara) Wetzel and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her parents, husband and 11 siblings.
