Our beloved Luis Villafana at the age of 60, went to his eternal home in Heaven, Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Luis was born on October 11, 1960 in Harlingen, Texas to Felipe Nunez & Guadalupe Villafana Valdez, raised by his Aunt Petra Nunez until he was 7yrs old.
He was a cosmetologist and also worked at Unidos Primary Home Care caring for patients. He attended Cross Church in San Benito, where he frequently invited and even took his friends to visit. Luis would hear the word of God and loved to spread the word to whoever listened. He emphasized on salvation, repentance and God’s love. Luis enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren, Daughters and Sons whom he adored. He had a passion for sports and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was known for his humorous and joyful personality. If you were close with Luis, you had a nickname that he gave you which made you feel special.
He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Nunez; Aunt Petra Nunez, Sister Beatrice Rodriguez, and Brothers Antonio Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Jose Erevia, Stepson Samuel Gonzales Jr. , and Granddaughter Aliyah Faith Ramirez.
Luis leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory through his children, Patricia (Sergio), Nicole (Rudy), Luis Jr, Stepchildren Valarie; Mother, Guadalupe Villafana Valdez; ex-wife and friend Mary Ann Villafana. Grandchildren, Samantha, Serenidy, Steven, Irma, Cloee, Brianna and Cristian. Siblings; Sisters Nelda, Sylvia, Brother Jesus and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
