Luis Daniel Barrera, 77, of Newnan, husband of Mary Anna Rogers Barrera died Monday, March 26, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital Newnan. Born in Colombia, South America, May 3, 1940, he was a son of Raquel Barrera de Ramero. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Barrera was a Sales Consultant for over forty years and had been employed with Perry Chemical for the past five years. He was an active member of White Oak Golf Club where he was a member of several golf groups. He enjoyed racquet ball until his recent illness. Mr. Barrera had attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church and was of the Catholic Faith. Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-one years are a son, Luis Barrera of Newnan; two sisters, Monica Soto and husband Juan and Gloria Romero, all of Spartanburg, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
