He was born in Mexico, the son of Francisco Martinez and Teresa Gomez Villchis. He was the husband of Sandra Gomez Malvaez, his wife of two years. He attended St. John Catholic Church in Westminster.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by children Brian Martinez and Emily Brianna Martinez both of Westminster and Itzel Alejandra of Mexico; siblings Eduardo Martinez and Sandra Martinez both of Mexico.
