GRANGEVILLE: Luella Isabelle (Cook) Beardsley, 84 of Kooskia, died Saturday, February 26, 2022 at syringa General Hospital in Grangeville. Luella was born April 29, 1937 to Atley and Alliene (Moore) Cook in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
She met Carl Robert Beardsley of Grangeville while she was playing piano. They were married May 4, 1963 in Kooskia.
Luella was a very well known, passionate and accomplished piano player. Most people knew her as “piano player”. She played at several events throughout her career. When she wasn’t playing the piano, Luella loved to tend to her garden, enjoy time with her pets, and go fishing.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Shelton Douglas Conrad who passed in 1994.
She is survived by her daughter Sheila Collins of Kooskia.
