LuDean Hawes Carroll
LuDean Hawes Carroll returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 6, 2016. She was born in Hyrum, Utah on June 26, 1927 to Garland and Verba Hawes. She graduated from So. Cache High School. She married her sweetheart and eternal companion, Kert Porter Carroll, in the Salt Lake Temple on January 30, 1946. They were married for 70 years and raised 6 children.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and her husband were ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple and later served a temple mission in Denver.
She loved gardening, quilting, traveling, and especially her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kert; her children; Dennis (Debbie) Carroll, Glenn (Susan) Carroll, Kathy (Phil) Koldewyn, LuAnn (Craig) Hadley, Monte (deceased) (Sally) Carroll, and Wes (Jacque) Carroll; 36 grandchildren; and 90 great grandchildren. Also, her brother, Ralph Hawes, and sisters; Bonnie Hall, Helen Stuart, and Diane Ewing.
