Lucy R. (Tarca) Chambers, 90 of Plainville passed away Sunday March 4, 2018 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Chambers. Lucy and Arthur were married on September 4, 1948.
Lucy was born December 17, 1927 in Berlin, a daughter of the late William and Savina (Baraglia) Tarca and was a longtime Plainville resident. She attended Plainville schools and had worked at General Electric for many years where she met the love of her life, Arthur.
She leaves her son, William A. Chambers and his wife Kathleen of Plainville, her daughter, Joyce Jones and her significant other Brien Morrissey of Plainville, her grandchildren, Erin Chambers, Sean Jones, Jennifer (Chambers) Alicea and her husband Julio and Ryan Chambers, her great grandchildren, Bryanna and Jayden Alicea, her sister-in-law, Edith Chambers and many nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by her brothers, John and Thomas and her sisters, Lena and Emma.
